Why I Started my Own Pelvic Floor Therapy Practice

Why I started my own pelvic floor physical therapy practice

Along my career as a pelvic floor physical therapist, I was always faced with certain challenges in treating my patients.

Shortage in pelvic floor physical therapists and limited time to provide care in traditional environments

Either the session was too short, or because of a shortage in pelvic PTs, I only had time to complete and evaluation and then never worked with that patient again, due to disorganized processes. I found that I was not giving the optimum care to my clients and not enjoying what I was doing. It was only when a client insisted on working with me consistently, that I got the chance to support and see the patient’s progress.

Need to build relationship and create patient-centered treatment plant

Understanding how pelvic floor physical therapy is a very special treatment, I take pride in treating in a very private environment, with very custom and specialized treatment plans.

I decided that to provide the type of care I know my clients deserve, I should start my own practice. It is my vision that I will be able to give the optimal and patient-centric treatment with the right duration of time that every patient uniquely needs.

Extensive international experience and pelvic floor specialization

I hope that through Advanced Pelvic Solutions (APS) I will be able to support my community in Lake Mary, then central Florida, and finally, worldwide. With my longstanding experience and international education, I can treat patients in Canada and the Middle East, as an international PT holding a license for other countries as well.

My focus will be at the beginning my community in Lake Mary and I am sure that this will get me to help many more women worldwide. My mission that every woman suffering from any pelvic floor issue will be able to return to enjoying her life by finding the solution for her pelvic floor issues by addressing the root of the problem, instead of just managing the symptoms.
